Extra Life 2

It’s that time of year again, normally I would never plug anything. It’s just not in my nature to ask for anything but this is different. If you’re unfamiliar with what Extra-Life is, I am just going to quote directly from the Extra-Life Website because they can obviously describe better than I ever could.

Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids.

My friends and I will be getting together on November 3rd starting at 9am and we’ll be playing games for 24 hours straight. The entire event will be streamed right on Twitch. If you would like to watch, you can easily find the twitch channel right here.

This year we will be raising money for the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse New York. If you do feel gracious enough to donate to the case you can donate here. Keep in mind that any donations made will directly go to the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.

If you would like to make a donation but hoping to make a donation but would like to make a donation to a  local hospital. You can go here, in the search bar you can just type in your area and find a  local gamer to donate to.

It should be noted that last year, we raised over $400 which considering how small the channel is, we were very happy with that. To try and raise the bar a little bit, I have personally been growing a beard for the last 4 months. I have not shaved (or even trimmed) and have decided that if we hit $500 I will shave my beard but leave the mustache and leave it for the rest of November.
