Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Game: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Year: 2004

System: Gamecube

Turn-based or Action:

Turn-Based RPG

Was it fun?

This game was surprisingly fun. I played this game last year and I didn’t even realize how popular of a game it was until after I played it.

Are there any similar games?

This was one of the first RPG’s I played. It was surprisingly a lot of fun.

Favorite Character/Unit to use?

I actually really like Koops, he was really good.

Favorite World/Stage?

I really liked the Boggly Woods and Boggly Tree world. It was kind of dark and weird. Just a really interestingly designed world.

Would you play it again?

As much as I enjoyed it, I don’t think I have another 50+ hours I can put into this game. Some games are great to play 1 times.

Any Complaints?

No, I think this was one of the best turn-based RPG’s I have ever played. Sadly after this, Nintendo really messed up the paper Mario series.

How many hours did you play it?

It was at least 50 hours.

How would you rate it and why?

As I said before, this game really surprised me. I didn’t know what to expect (I didn’t even know it was an RPG) but then I started playing it and instantly got hooked. The game was a pleasant surprise and I would recommend this game to anyone.
