Game:  Street Fighter V

Year: 2016

System: PS4

Was it fun?

Yes but I am really bad.

Are there any similar fighting games?

Its a Street Fighter game, it feels a lot like Third Strike which has a lot of people excited.

Favorite character to use?

I like Rashid, my one complaint is his V-Trigger, is slow so I would catch people jumping in on me but it would take so long to come out, I would get punished almost every time.

Would you play it again?

Yes, I’m sure I will play this game a lot over the years.

Any Complaints?

My only complaint is with the 52 game challenge this year, I don’t have time to play it. When I say play it, I don’t mean putting it in for a couple hours and messing around with friends (which you can absolutely do). What I mean is, spending hours in the training room, learning combos, learning the characters and the match ups. Then spending hours playing online and competing against other people. With a full time job, (I also volunteer), I cant beat 52 games and learn this game.

How would you rate it and why?

I like fighting games and this is one of the most balanced fighting games I have ever played. No character felt overpowered which in a fighting game is a great sign. The game is still young so there could be some game breaking mechanics that people will find but for now, I recommend picking this game up, getting together with friends and playing locally. I have been seeing a lot of people complain about the lack of single player and honestly, who cares?

Fighting games are about getting together with friends and playing. Whether its casual or much more intense, this game is perfect for all types of people.
